GREAT FOOD | GAMES | DOOR PRIZES | CASUAL ATMOSPHERE | WARRIOR STORIES | ENCOURAGEMENT | LIVE MUSIC | FAMILY FEEL | COMPLETELY FREE | MUCH MORE
Five years ago, a handful of people with a dream came together to host the first annual Warrior Feast. The mission of The Feast is simple, to provide a family-style Thanksgiving dinner as a way of bringing our military community together as a family. This year, year six, will be no different. Complete with turkey and dressing, door prizes, great friends, fun and games, and more, this event is the flagship event of the Warrior Network. Honestly, that first Feast was where all of this "Warrior Network" talk came from and began!
This is an event where the Shreveport/Bossier community come together to serve and honor our military community.
We will serve a traditional Thanksgiving style dinner including the following:
Smoked Turkey Breast
Honey Baked Ham
House Made Cranberry Sauce
Warm Dinner Rolls
Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie
Tea & Water
FUN AND GAMES
A GREAT MEAL
STORIES OF HOPE FROM OTHER SERVICE MEMBERS
OPTIONAL CHILDCARE PROVIDED BY THE SIMPLE CHURCH
A FUN AND RELAXED EVENING
AND SEVERAL OTHER NEW ELEMENTS
As with all of our events, we have an opportunity to give back and invest in our community.
This year, we are asking our Warriors and Volunteers to help us collect food items for children at two of our local schools as we kick off one of our latest initiatives.
HERE IS THE LIST OF NEEDED ITEMS:
- Instant oatmeal
- Juice boxes
- Instant mac and cheese
- Fruit snacks (100% fruit)
- Canned vegetables
- Canned soup
- Granola bars
- Apple sauce/fruit cups
We are also collecting the following for Elementary age boys and girls.
- New socks
- New underwear
- New belts
You do not have to participate in this to attend or volunteer. There will be a drop off location at The Feast.
Want to help us greet, serve, set up, work the parking lot, or help with check-in? Then we need you!
Volunteer opportunities are for our community and veteran friends. Those currently serving in the military are asked not to volunteer, rather, we want you to attend and enjoy the Feast.
You can check out the volunteer position descriptions below.
*** Volunteer registration closes Monday night, November 18.
This team literally creates the physical Feast Experience. Setup will happen on Saturday, November 23 beginning at 8am. If you want to help create the atmosphere of the event, then sign up to help us set up. There will be everything from heavy lifting to light decorating. (REPORT TIME: 8:00am, Saturday, November 23)
Our Check In attendants serve at our registration table located at the main entrance to the room and help make sure our Warriors are checked in quickly and easily. (REPORT TIME: 4:00pm, Sunday, November 24)
From the Parking Garage to inside the Main Hall, our Greeters serve by making our Warriors welcome to the Feast. High fives, smiling faces, "welcome to the Feast", and a few of our TWN arm bands have been known to be staples of our Greeters. (REPORT TIME: 4:00pm, Sunday, November 24)
Our Servers make sure our Warriors have everything they need throughout the event. Servers take care of the tables. While the Convention Center Staff serves the actual meal, our servers take care of each and every detail associated with making sure our Warriors do not have to get up for anything, unless they just want to. (REPORT TIME: 4:00pm, Sunday, November 24)
The Feast Experience begins in the Parking Garage, and our Parking Attendants are the front line of our Warriors experiencing a great night. These attendants make sure our Warriors find everything they may need, even in the parking lot. (REPORT TIME: 4:00pm, Sunday, November 24)

We ofter get asked "what is the best way I can help out?" Well, here is one of those ways. Help us fund a meal for the Warrior Feast. A $20 donation covers the cost of one meal at this event, and we are asking if YOU would help us fund 1000 meals. If so, whether it is one meal, two meals, ten meals, or more, click the FUND A FEAST link below and fill out the secure form.
Funding a meal does not reserve a ticket for the event. This is strictly a fundraising opportunity.
